WovenX Platform Boosts Washington Gastroenterology’s Throughput, Cuts Wait Times

September 9, 2025 — WovenX’s OnDemand platform helped Washington Gastroenterology (WaGi) increase suite utilization by 5 percent, reduce time to procedure by 72 percent, and generate $5.4 million in new revenue over the past 18 months.

WovenX, a leader in specialty care access, announced the results of its collaboration with WaGi, a GI Alliance practice in the Pacific Northwest. The OnDemand platform expanded access, improved patient retention, and optimized endoscopy suite performance without additional staff or infrastructure.

WaGi implemented WovenX’s platform to address the challenge of meeting demand without overwhelming the practice. The virtual care layer integrates into existing systems.

Sheri Rudberg, CEO and Co-Founder of WovenX Health, stated that their embedded access engine delivers results from day one, driving clinical and financial return while enhancing patient experience.

With WovenX, patients undergo AI-enabled intake and are seen by GI-trained APPs under MD supervision. Visits are documented in the EMR, billing flows to the practice, and care remains within the team. More than half of OnDemand patients filled cancelled procedure slots at WaGi, leading to a 5 percent increase in endo suite utilization and improved procedural conversion rates. Patients also moved through the diagnostic pathway 72 percent faster.

Without OnDemand, many WaGi patients indicated they would have sought care elsewhere. The platform also supported high-frequency patients, reducing uncompensated time and allowing physicians to focus on complex care. Additionally, WovenX provided WaGi with better visibility into visit patterns, conversion rates, and demographics, enabling targeted outreach.

WovenX requires no IT build or integration to launch, integrating with health systems and specialty groups as a turnkey solution. Patients can access care through AI-enabled intake and MD-supervised virtual visits, with documentation flowing directly into the EMR. Billing remains with the practice, and existing workflows stay intact.
