The forum is organized by Sachs Associates and will be held at the Marines’ Memorial Club in San Francisco, California, during J.P. Morgan Healthcare Conference Week.
Tiziana’s senior management will attend the forum and be available for one-on-one meetings with investors, partners, and stakeholders.
The 9th Annual Neuroscience Innovation Forum focuses on advances in therapeutics, neurotechnology, and diagnostics for neurological disorders. Tiziana’s presentation will focus on intranasal foralumab, the Company’s lead candidate. Foralumab is a fully human anti-CD3 monoclonal antibody, designed to modulate the immune system and reduce microglial activation in neurodegenerative conditions.
Ivor Elrifi, CEO of Tiziana Life Sciences, stated the company is excited to participate in the forum and share updates on the clinical progress of intranasal foralumab. Elrifi said the event is an important platform to engage with potential partners and advance therapies for patients with diseases such as non-active secondary progressive multiple sclerosis and other neuroinflammatory conditions.
Foralumab is a biologic candidate shown to stimulate T regulatory cells when dosed intranasally. Fourteen patients with Non-Active Secondary Progressive Multiple Sclerosis (na-SPMS) have been dosed in an open-label intermediate sized Expanded Access (EA) Program (NCT06802328). All patients showed either an improvement or stability of disease within 6 months. Intranasal foralumab is also being studied in a Phase 2a, randomized, double-blind, placebo-controlled, multicenter, dose-ranging trial in patients with non-active secondary progressive multiple sclerosis (NCT06292923).
Foralumab is the only fully human anti-CD3 monoclonal antibody (mAb) currently in clinical development. Immunomodulation by intranasal foralumab represents a novel avenue for treating neuroinflammatory and neurodegenerative human diseases.
