Sky Labs announced it secured investments from OMRON Ventures and signed a strategic partnership MoU with OMRON Healthcare Co., Ltd. to strengthen strategic partnerships for global business expansion. The strengthened partnership stems from Sky Labs’ “CART BP” demonstrating confidence in its growth potential for preventing chronic diseases and expanding its global business.
In 2024, the companies signed a MoU for global distribution and business development of “CART BP,” and a Japanese market distribution contract for prior products. Sky Labs commercialized ‘CART BP’, which continuously measures daily, sleep, and night blood pressure data to prevent high blood pressure and cardiovascular disease. The device allows users to check blood pressure changes and trends by time, date, and month in daily life, outside of clinics and outpatient centers. OMRON Healthcare has supplied home and medical blood pressure gauges and cardiovascular management solutions to over 130 countries, with global cumulative blood pressure monitoring sales exceeding 400 million units as of 2025.
Jack Byunghwan Lee, CEO of Sky Labs, said the strategic partnership recognizes Sky Labs’ technology for clinical effectiveness and business feasibility in global standards and that it will lead innovation in the global healthcare market alongside OMRON Healthcare.
