September 30, 2025 — Leads & Copy — Rockwell Medical, Inc. (Nasdaq: RMTI) has promoted Heather Hunter to Chief Operating Officer. She will continue to report to President and CEO Dr. Mark Strobeck.
Hunter joined Rockwell Medical in August 2022 as SVP, Chief Corporate Affairs Officer, revitalizing investor relations, corporate communications, brand reputation, and market credibility. Her new role will focus on modernizing infrastructure, processes, and systems, implementing operational efficiencies, and aligning execution with Rockwell Medical’s strategic priorities.
Strobeck said Hunter’s promotion reflects her work transforming the organization into a leading supplier of liquid bicarbonate concentrates and the second-largest supplier of acid and dry bicarbonate concentrates for dialysis patients in the United States.
Hunter is driven by the mission to provide dialysis clinics with high-quality products and customer service. Prior to joining Rockwell Medical, she held leadership positions at Venatorx Pharmaceuticals, Safeguard Scientifics, and W.P. Carey. She is an Advisory Board Member at Journal My Health and a Managing Director at Golden Seeds. Hunter holds a B.A. in History from Yale University.
