Prenetics Appoints Dr. Darshan Shah to Board of Directors

Prenetics Global Limited (NASDAQ: PRE), a consumer health sciences company and parent of the IM8 health and longevity brand, has appointed Dr. Darshan Shah to its Board of Directors, effective February 16, 2026. Dr. Shah will serve on the Audit, Compensation, and Nominating and Corporate Governance Committees.

Dr. Shah is a surgeon and longevity medicine expert with over 20 years of clinical practice and healthcare entrepreneurship experience. He recently gained recognition as the medical expert and formulator for Liquid Death’s new energy drink, featured in a Super Bowl LX advertisement on February 6, 2026. He also built and scaled Next Health into a longevity center.

According to Danny Yeung, Chairman and CEO of Prenetics, Dr. Shah’s appointment enhances the Board’s scientific and commercial expertise. He stated that Dr. Shah’s medical expertise and entrepreneurial track record of building and scaling a national health brand make him a perfect fit for Prenetics’ mission to build a health and longevity brand with IM8. Yeung believes Dr. Shah’s expertise in clinical trials, product formulation, and building health brands will drive innovation and create shareholder value.

Dr. Shah said he is thrilled to join the Prenetics Board, and is impressed with the Company’s commitment to science. Dr. Shah earned his medical degree from the University of Missouri, Kansas City, at 21, and completed surgical training at the Mayo Clinic. He has performed over 20,000 surgical procedures.

Since 2016, Dr. Shah has been the Founder and CEO of Next Health, a health optimization and longevity center. Under his leadership, Next Health has established a data-driven framework for personalized health and plans to expand to over 30 locations by the end of 2026.

Dr. Shah also hosts the EXTEND Podcast, and is an alumnus of Harvard Business School and Singularity University. He has authored peer-reviewed articles in academic medical journals.
