RESEARCH TRIANGLE PARK, N.C. — September 3, 2025 — Leads & Copy — Persephoni BioSciences LLC is sponsoring American Cancer Society BrightEdge LLC’s innovation programs with $1.5 million, forming a strategic partnership to accelerate translational oncology research and launch startups with innovative therapies. BrightEdge, the innovation arm of the American Cancer Society, will partner with Persephoni to develop its Clinical Impact Studio, translating discoveries into new therapies.
The partnership involves regular engagements where Persephoni collaborates with BrightEdge leadership to identify and guide innovations from ACS grantees and entrepreneurs, implementing the Persephoni Breakthrough System to advance discoveries.
The Persephoni Clinical Impact Studio in North Carolina will serve as a hub for company formation, strategic guidance, and capital deployment into startups aligned with the ACS mission.
Hilary Schultz, CEO of Persephoni, said the partnership will unlock transformative solutions for patients by combining ACS BrightEdge’s research network with Persephoni’s capabilities. Alice Pomponio, vice president at ACS BrightEdge, added that the partnership will bridge the translational gap, enabling more potentially lifesaving discoveries to reach patients.
