ZURICH-SCHLIEREN, Switzerland — August 21, 2025 — Leads & Copy — Molecular Partners AG (SIX: MOLN; NASDAQ: MOLN) has appointed Martin Steegmaier, Ph.D., as Chief Scientific Officer (CSO) and member of the company’s Executive Committee, effective October 1, 2025. Steegmaier brings experience in oncology drug development, having previously contributed to the advancement of cancer therapies at biotech and pharmaceutical companies.
According to Patrick Amstutz, Ph.D., CEO of Molecular Partners, Steegmaier’s expertise in oncology, business and leadership will provide impetus to the company’s efforts to deliver unique cancer therapies.
Steegmaier joins Molecular Partners from SOTIO Biotech, where he was CSO, and has held senior roles at MorphoSys, Roche, and Boehringer Ingelheim.
Steegmaier graduated from Northern Arizona University, holds a Ph.D. in biochemistry from the University of Basel, and an MBA from the Edinburgh Business School.
