CAMBRIDGE, Mass. — August 13, 2025 — Leads & Copy — Mersana Therapeutics Inc. (NASDAQ: MRSN) reported progress in its Phase 1 dose expansion cohorts for Emi-Le in post-topoisomerase-1 inhibitor ADC (post-topo-1) triple-negative breast cancer (TNBC) with over 45 patients enrolled.
The company anticipates reporting initial clinical data from these expansion cohorts in the second half of 2025. In the second quarter, Emi-Le clinical data was presented at ASCO 2025 and ESMO Breast Cancer 2025, highlighting encouraging clinical activity in TNBC post-topo-1 and adenoid cystic carcinoma type 1 (ACC-1) patients, according to Martin Huber, M.D., President and CEO of Mersana Therapeutics.
Mersana also continues to advance XMT-2056, achieving a $15 million development milestone with GSK plc in July 2025. The company expects to present initial clinical pharmacodynamic STING activation data for XMT-2056 in the second half of 2025.
A 1-for-25 reverse stock split became effective on July 25, 2025. Nasdaq confirmed on August 11, 2025, that Mersana regained compliance with the minimum bid price requirement.
Second quarter 2025 financial results include collaboration revenue of $3.1 million and a net loss of $24.3 million, or $4.87 per share. Cash and cash equivalents as of June 30, 2025, were $77.0 million. Mersana expects its capital resources to support its operating plan commitments into mid-2026.
