Medicus is conducting a Phase 2 clinical study for SKNJCT-003 across nine U.S. sites, targeting basal cell carcinoma using dissolvable microneedle arrays. Interim analysis showed over 60% clinical clearance. The company also has a study (SKNJCT-004) underway in the UAE, involving Cleveland Clinic Abu Dhabi and other medical centers.
In August 2025, Medicus acquired Antev, a UK biotech firm, developing Teverelix for cardiovascular high-risk prostate cancer patients. Teverelix TFA, a GnRH antagonist, suppresses sex hormone production without an initial testosterone surge. Antev completed Phase 1 and 2a trials with positive results.
