SOMERSET, N.J. — August 18, 2025 — Leads & Copy — Legend Biotech Corporation (NASDAQ: LEGN) has appointed Carlos Santos as its new Chief Financial Officer, effective immediately. He succeeds Jessie Yeung, who served as interim CFO since January 2025.
Mr. Santos brings extensive financial leadership experience from the pharmaceutical and technology sectors, having worked across the United States, Latin America, Europe, the Middle East, and Africa. He will oversee Legend’s financial operations, focusing on maintaining a strong balance sheet and achieving profitability.
Prior to joining Legend Biotech, Mr. Santos was CFO for US Oncology at AstraZeneca and held CFO roles for European markets and Brazil at Alcon (Novartis division). He also spent nearly a decade in financial leadership positions at Intel Corporation.
Legend Biotech CEO, Ying Huang, Ph.D., expressed enthusiasm for Mr. Santos’s appointment, citing his expertise as invaluable for driving the success of CARVYKTI® and achieving companywide profitability in 2026. He also thanked Jessie Yeung for her leadership as interim CFO.
