Kuros Biosciences Launches MagnetOs MIS Delivery System, Expands to Brazil

Schlieren (Zürich), Switzerland — August 5, 2025 — Leads & Copy — Kuros Biosciences announced the completion of the first U.S. cases using the new MagnetOsTM MIS Delivery System, designed for Minimally Invasive Surgery (MIS) in spine procedures. Following FDA 510(k) clearance in May, these cases expand surgeon access to streamlined graft delivery.

Dr. Daniel Park, an orthopedic spine surgeon, used the system in Southfield, Michigan. He noted the system’s smooth, precise graft placement and efficiency. Kuros anticipates a full commercial launch of the MIS system this fall.

MagnetOs MIS builds on the science of MagnetOs and its NeedleGrip™ technology, stimulating bone growth. Compared to traditional systems, MagnetOs MIS achieved graft placement three times faster.

The MIS system is supported by clinical evidence. A retrospective study showed a 94.4% fusion rate across 36 levels treated in patients undergoing MIS and open transforaminal lumbar interbody fusions (TLIF).

Kuros also announced that MagnetOs Putty has been approved by the Brazilian regulatory authority, expanding the company’s entry into the South American market.

Chris Fair, CEO of Kuros Biosciences, stated the launch delivers precision, speed, and proven outcomes for minimally invasive surgical techniques.
