Immortal Dragons Invests in Frontier Bio to Advance 3D Biofabrication

SINGAPORE, SG — August 29, 2025 — Leads & Copy — Immortal Dragons, a $40 million longevity fund, has announced a strategic investment in Frontier Bio, a biotechnology company specializing in biofabrication. Frontier Bio utilizes technologies such as 3D biofabrication, stem cells, organ-on-a-chip, and perfusion bioreactor technology to develop functional blood vessels. These vessels address unmet medical needs in markets exceeding $12 billion annually, where current synthetic solutions have failure rates up to 65%.

Frontier Bio’s technology produces blood vessels with superior performance, including an absence of thrombosis, significant cell infiltration, proper endothelium formation, and integration with surrounding tissue. Their tissues for in vitro testing include microfluidic organ-on-a-chip platforms that form human blood-brain barrier models, and a 3D bioprinted mini-lung, designed to accelerate pre-clinical trials and deliver more accurate experimental results compared to animal testing.

The company’s tissue-engineered blood vessels eliminate the thrombosis risk associated with synthetic grafts. In animal studies, Frontier Bio’s vascular grafts demonstrated remarkable performance in the carotid artery, remaining patent with integration into surrounding tissue and showing no thrombosis or infection after 14 days of implantation.

The investment in Frontier Bio aligns with Immortal Dragons’ focus on solving organ failure, a leading cause of death for individuals over 65. Frontier Bio’s scalable 3D biofabrication technology for functional organs and tissues targets the $150 billion organ transplant market, supporting Immortal Dragons’ thesis that aging-related deaths can be prevented through replacement technology.

Boyang Wang, founder of Immortal Dragons, stated that 3D Biofabrication can provide the infrastructure for biological part replacement by enabling the manufacturing of specific organs and tissues on-demand.

Brian Kennedy, a professor at the National University of Singapore, noted that Immortal Dragons is making mission-driven investments in longevity by supporting high-impact science with long-term potential.
