Rockville, Maryland — August 25, 2025 — Leads & Copy — I-Mab (NASDAQ:IMAB), a U.S.-based, global biotech company, has appointed Dr. Robert Lenz and Ms. Xin Liu as independent directors to its Board of Directors, effective August 22, 2025. The company reiterated the appointment of independent director Dr. Sean Cao to the Board as of May 28, 2025. Lielie Zhang stepped down from the Board on August 20, 2025. I-Mab also formed a Research and Development Committee, chaired by Dr. Robert Lenz, with Dr. Sean Cao and Dr. Sean Fu as members, and expanded its Scientific Advisory Board with Dr. Ken Takeshita.
Mr. Wei Fu, Chairman of the Board of Directors of I-Mab, noted that Dr. Cao’s career of entrepreneurship and Dr. Lenz’s track record as an R&D leader will be important to I-Mab’s focus on R&D excellence and innovation, and Ms. Liu’s finance and governance experience will complement the skilled executives on the Board.
Dr. Robert Lenz most recently served as the Executive Vice President and Head of Research and Development at Neumora Therapeutics, Inc. Ms. Xin Liu is currently serving as Investment Director, Healthcare Group of Hony Capital. Dr. Sean Cao is an Operating Partner at CBC Group and the Co-Founder and CEO of ABio-X Holdings. Dr. Ken Takeshita is the Global Head of Research & Development for Daiichi Sankyo.
I-Mab is focused on developing precision immuno-oncology agents for cancer treatment, with its pipeline led by givastomig, a bispecific antibody targeting Claudin 18.2-positive gastric cancers.
