STAFFORD, Texas — August 19, 2025 — Leads & Copy — Greenwich LifeSciences, Inc. (Nasdaq: GLSI) is expanding its clinical trial management and operations team to oversee its Phase III clinical trial, FLAMINGO-01, which is evaluating GLSI-100, an immunotherapy aimed at preventing breast cancer recurrences.
The company is hiring staff to manage FLAMINGO-01, reducing reliance on more expensive staffing from Clinical Research Organizations (CROs). The strategy is expected to cut costs and improve efficiency as the clinical trial expands to more sites and countries. VP Jaye Thompson noted the appeal of reducing costs and improving efficiency through dedicated staff, adding that Greenwich will continue to use select vendors. CEO Snehal Patel believes the new strategy will reduce the baseline burn rate while improving data quality and site management.
FLAMINGO-01 (NCT05232916) assesses GLSI-100 in HER2 positive breast cancer patients with residual disease or high-risk pathologic complete response post-surgery and trastuzumab treatment. The trial, led by Baylor College of Medicine, includes U.S. and European sites and plans to expand to 150 sites globally.
