Ernexa Therapeutics Announces Preclinical Data on ERNA-101 for Ovarian Cancer at AACR Conference

CAMBRIDGE, Mass. — September 17, 2025 — Leads & Copy — Ernexa Therapeutics (Nasdaq: ERNA) will present preclinical data at the AACR Special Conference in Cancer Research on September 20, 2025, in Denver. The presentation will highlight findings from Ernexa’s lead program, ERNA-101, a synthetic cell therapy designed to activate the immune system to attack cancer cells, supporting its clinical evaluation in ovarian cancer.

Dr. Michael Andreeff of The University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center, the trial’s lead investigator, will present the oral presentation titled “Gene-modified iPS-derived MSC restore a ‘Hot’ immune microenvironment in high-grade serous ovarian cancer.” Dr. Andreeff said the research underscores the promise of engineered iPSC-derived MSCs to reshape the tumor microenvironment in ovarian cancer and has the potential to open new therapeutic avenues.

Sanjeev Luther, President and CEO of Ernexa Therapeutics, said the opportunity to share their ERNA-101 data on an international stage is an important milestone for Ernexa, and they are honored to partner with Dr. Andreeff, a leading pioneer in cell therapy.

Ernexa is developing cell therapies for advanced cancer and autoimmune diseases, focusing on engineering induced pluripotent stem cells (iPSCs) and transforming them into induced mesenchymal stem cells (iMSCs). ERNA-101 is designed to activate the immune system’s response to recognize and attack cancer cells.
