GAITHERSBURG, Md. — October 10, 2025 — Leads & Copy — Elutia Inc. (Nasdaq: ELUT) has appointed Guido J. Neels to its Board of Directors, the company announced. Neels will also serve on the board’s audit committee. The appointment coincides with the departure of W. Matthew Zuga and Maybelle Jordan from Elutia’s Board.
Kevin Rakin, Executive Chairman of Elutia, expressed enthusiasm for Neels’ addition, citing his extensive experience in medical technology leadership. Rakin also thanked Zuga and Jordan for their service to Elutia.
Neels, an Operating Partner at EW Healthcare Partners, has over 40 years of business experience. He currently serves on the boards of Bioventus, Enercon Technologies, Impulse Dynamics, and Corvista. Before EW, Neels was Chief Operating Officer of Guidant Corporation and held positions at Eli Lilly & Company.
Neels expressed honor in joining Elutia’s Board, highlighting the company’s technology and potential in breast reconstruction.
