Vancouver, British Columbia — November 26, 2025 — Leads & Copy — DiagnosTear Technologies Inc. (CSE: DTR) is collaborating with the LV Prasad Eye Institute (LVPEI) in Hyderabad, India, to clinically validate TeaRx™, DiagnosTear’s next-generation Red Eye diagnostic test.
DiagnosTear is developing a rapid, point-of-care diagnostic test to distinguish between Adenoviral conjunctivitis, Herpetic keratitis, and Allergic conjunctivitis, which are frequently misdiagnosed causes of red eye. The tool aims to reduce diagnostic uncertainty and improve patient care through timely and accurate results.
Under the collaboration, LVPEI will provide well-characterized clinical samples, including a cohort of patients with PCR-confirmed Herpetic Keratitis, to evaluate and refine the analytical and clinical performance of the TeaRx™ platform.
Dr. Shimon Gross, CEO of DiagnosTear Technologies Inc., stated that the collaboration accelerates the company’s goal of bringing the first point of care, multi-parametric test for differential diagnosis of red eye, specifically for on-site detection of Herpes viruses.
