August 7, 2025. BERKELEY HEIGHTS, N.J. — August 7, 2025 — Leads & Copy — CorMedix Inc. (Nasdaq: CRMD) has announced its financial results for the second quarter and six months ended June 30, 2025, along with the acquisition of Melinta Therapeutics LLC, targeted to close as early as September 1, 2025.
For Q2 2025, CorMedix reported $39.7 million in net revenue from DefenCath sales, a significant increase from $0.8 million in the same period last year. Net income was $19.8 million, or $0.29 per share, compared to a net loss of $14.2 million, or $0.25 per share, in Q2 2024.
Operating expenses for Q2 2025 were $18.3 million, up 18% from $15.6 million in Q2 2024, driven by increased G&A and R&D expenses. R&D expenses rose to $2.4 million from $0.7 million, while selling and marketing expenses decreased by 14% to $6.4 million. General and administrative expenses increased by 25% to $9.5 million.
For the six months ended June 30, 2025, net revenue reached $78.8 million, compared to $0.8 million in the same period last year. Net income was $40.5 million, or $0.60 per share, compared to a net loss of $28.6 million, or $0.50 per share, in the first half of 2024.
Operating expenses for the first half of 2025 were $35.7 million, a 13% increase from $31.5 million in the same period in 2024. The company reported cash and short-term investments of $190.7 million as of June 30, 2025, excluding restricted cash, and believes it has sufficient resources to fund operations for at least twelve months.
