(Nasdaq: CMND), a clinical-stage biotech company, has announced the recruitment of the first patient at Tel Aviv Sourasky Medical Center (TASMC) in Israel for its Phase I/IIa clinical trial of CMND-100 in Alcohol Use Disorder (AUD).
TASMC, a leading medical center in Israel, joins an expanding global network of trial sites that includes Yale School of Medicine, Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine, and Hadassah Medical Center.
The Phase I/IIa trial is designed to assess the safety, tolerability, pharmacokinetics, and preliminary efficacy of CMND-100, Clearmind’s non-hallucinogenic, oral MEAI-based compound.
Recent top-line results from the first completed cohort of the trial indicated excellent safety and adherence, with no serious adverse events reported.
Prof. David Zeltser, Director of Internal Medicine Department and Deputy Director, R&D and Innovation at TASMC, is the principal investigator at the Israeli site.
