VANCOUVER, BC — November 18, 2025 — Leads & Copy — BTQ Technologies Corp., a quantum technology company, has announced that its QPerfect SA division and Quobly have launched an upgraded quantum emulator, QLEO, with GPU acceleration and NVIDIA CUDA-Q compatibility. The launch coincides with the Supercomputing Conference (SC25).
The upgraded QLEO, powered by QPerfect’s MIMIQ engine, is designed to enable developers, researchers, and industry partners to simulate quantum algorithms at unprecedented speed and scale. The second-generation release introduces GPU acceleration and full NVIDIA CUDA-Q compatibility.
According to BTQ, the upgrade delivers faster, larger-scale quantum simulation on NVIDIA accelerated computing, evolving into a more accessible and powerful platform for the quantum community. BTQ said it marks an essential milestone in Quobly’s industrialization roadmap toward an operational quantum computer.
The upgraded QLEO integrates a GPU-accelerated engine leveraging the NVIDIA cuQuantum SDK, which unlocks performance gains for quantum simulation. The update brings native CUDA-Q support, allowing developers to write quantum circuits in CUDA-Q and run them directly on QLEO without code changes.
According to BTQ, by utilizing NVIDIA accelerated computing, the upgrade broadens accessibility, giving the QLEO community an industry-leading toolset to explore quantum algorithms.
The upgraded QLEO is designed to deliver a simulation environment tailored to the needs of the quantum community. By leveraging NVIDIA accelerated computing and the cuQuantum SDK, QLEO achieves over 100x speedups compared to CPU-only simulation.
The new GPU backend enables users to design, test, and iterate on their algorithms with the speed and flexibility of an industry-leading HPC platform. With CUDA-Q integration, developers can design circuits in CUDA-Q and run them directly on QLEO without code changes, simplifying the development of hybrid quantum-classical applications.
BTQ stated that QLEO can take full advantage of NVIDIA accelerated computing deployed in leading data centers and cloud platforms worldwide. This ensures that advanced quantum simulation is faster and broadly available to developers and researchers.
The upgraded QLEO is designed to address challenges in advancing quantum algorithm development. BTQ said it enables larger-scale simulations and accelerates innovation in areas such as quantum chemistry, combinatorial optimization, materials discovery, quantitative finance, pharmaceutical development, and artificial intelligence.
Maud Vinet, CEO and co-founder of Quobly, said that the integration of GPU acceleration and full CUDA-Q compatibility empowers the community to explore quantum-classical workflows at scale and speed.
Guido Masella, CTO & co-founder of Qperfect, said that with native CUDA-Q support, QLEO provides a direct on-ramp to NVIDIA GPU infrastructure, allowing users to run quantum simulations faster on GPU than on CPU.
Olivier Roussy Newton, CEO of BTQ Technologies, said that the launch of GPU-accelerated QLEO represents a milestone in bringing quantum computing from the lab to real-world applications. He said that integrating NVIDIA CUDA-Q and leveraging QPerfect’s MIMIQ engine is bridging the gap between simulation and hardware.
The new generation of QLEO is available to users on OVHcloud Quantum Platform and can be installed locally on a personal computer.
