Chromoanagenesis, a catastrophic genomic event linked to complex karyotypes and cancer development, has been challenging to detect with traditional methods. OGM offers a high-resolution, genome-wide view of structural variants, enabling precise identification and characterization of genome variation underlying chromoanagenesis.
The book series includes studies using OGM in acute myelogenous leukemia (AML), multiple myeloma (MM), and chronic lymphocytic leukemia (CLL), and explores novel workflows like dam assisted fluorescent tagging of chromatin accessibility.
