SAN DIEGO, CA — October 7, 2025 — Leads & Copy — AXIM Biotechnologies, Inc. (OTC: AXIM) has entered into an exclusive license and distribution agreement with JK Medical, Inc. to market and distribute AXIM’s TearScan® Lactoferrin Diagnostic Test and TearScan® IgE Diagnostic Test in Brazil, Chile, Peru, Argentina, Mexico, Ecuador, and Colombia. The agreement aims to expand access to rapid, clinic-friendly ocular diagnostics throughout Latin America, combining AXIM’s lateral-flow diagnostics with JK Medical’s regional market access.
Catalina Valencia, CEO of AXIM Biotechnologies, stated that the partnership is a major step in expanding access to ocular diagnostics throughout Latin America, supporting eye-care professionals with objective biomarkers for DED and ocular allergy. The agreement grants JK Medical exclusive rights to market and distribute TearScan® tests across the specified countries, with a four-year exclusivity period commencing upon regulatory approval in two of the seven countries. AXIM will provide product supply, training, and technical support.
Dry Eye Disease (DED) affects an estimated 350 million people worldwide. AXIM’s TearScan® portfolio enables eye-care professionals to identify ADDE, allergy, or a combination, make correct diagnoses, and select targeted therapies.
