CAMBRIDGE, Mass. — September 15, 2025 — Leads & Copy — Atavistik Bio, a biotechnology company focused on discovering precision allosteric therapeutics, has appointed Susan Pandya, M.D., as Chief Medical Officer (CMO). Dr. Pandya brings 20 years of drug development experience and a track record of leading teams and delivering precision medicines.
As CMO, Dr. Pandya will lead clinical development strategy and execution, including the Phase 1 clinical trial of ATV-1601, an allosteric selective inhibitor for AKT1 E17K-driven solid tumors. She will also advance the company’s preclinical pipeline.
Bryan Stuart, CEO of Atavistik Bio, expressed excitement about Dr. Pandya’s appointment as the company transitions to a clinical stage organization. Dr. Pandya’s expertise will be instrumental in progressing the clinical study of ATV-1601 and advancing other pipeline programs.
Dr. Pandya previously served as VP, Clinical Development and Global Head of late-stage oncology at Servier Pharmaceuticals. Before that, she led clinical development of the isocitrate dehydrogenase (IDH) inhibitor portfolio at Agios Pharmaceuticals.
Dr. Pandya earned her M.D. from Tufts University School of Medicine and completed her residency and fellowship at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center. She also serves on the Board of Directors of MOMA Therapeutics.
