Vancouver, BC — August 5, 2026 — Leads & Copy — West Mining Corp. (CSE: WEST) (OTC: WESMF) (FRA: 1HL) has elected to adopt semi-annual financial reporting, effective immediately. The decision was made to rely on Coordinated Blanket Order 51-933 Exemptions to Permit Semi-Annual Reporting for Certain Venture Issuers.

This exemption allows eligible venture issuers to transition from quarterly to a semi-annual financial reporting framework. West Mining Corp.’s fiscal year concludes on October 31. Under CBO 51-933, the Company will be exempt from filing Q1 and Q3 financial statements and their accompanying management’s discussion and analysis, provided it continues to meet the eligibility criteria.

Consequently, the Company will not be filing interim financial statements for the three and nine months ended July 31, 2026, nor the associated MD&A. This exemption also applies to subsequent quarters ending January 31 and July 31 in each fiscal year. West Mining Corp. will continue to submit audited annual financial statements, due within 120 days of October 31 annually, and six-month interim financial reports, due within 60 days of April 30 each year.

The Company has confirmed that it meets the eligibility requirements for the semi-annual reporting pilot program. These requirements include being a venture issuer with annual revenues below $10 million, as indicated in its most recent audited annual financial statements. Additionally, the Company must have been a reporting issuer in a Canadian jurisdiction for at least 12 months and have filed all necessary periodic and timely disclosure documents in accordance with Canadian securities legislation.

This news release is being filed in accordance with CBO 51-933. West Mining Corp. is a mineral exploration company focused on the exploration of copper, gold, and silver. Its primary exploration activities are centered on its wholly owned Junkers Property in north-central British Columbia and its 100% owned Spanish Mountain West Property in central British Columbia. The Company also holds a 100% interest in the Kena Property, which has been optioned to Upside Gold Corp.
