ANGKOR Resources Confirms Third Anticline in Block VIII
GRANDE PRAIRIE, ALBERTA — November 5, 2025 — Leads & Copy — Angkor Resources Corp. (TSXV: ANK) has confirmed a third anticlinal dome structure through its North Bokor seismic program. The structure is buried under the flat valley bottom lands within Block VIII boundaries.
After identifying closed anticline structures in South Bokor and Central Bokor on Block VIII, the discovery of another potentially closed anticline is considered positive. Angkor’s subsidiary, EnerCam Resources Co. Cambodia Ltd., has added a third potential target for oil and gas drilling in the coming year. Proving a commercial hydrocarbon reservoir would establish Cambodia as an onshore hydrocarbon resource producer.
The North Bokor structure, on the west side of the Block VIII oil and gas license, differs from Central and South Bokor with its mapped regional unconformity surface found at shallower depths, approximately 300-400 meters below the valley floor.
EnerCam’s Technical Manager, Keith Edwards, said that the shallow regional unconformity surface makes drilling to deeper targets easier. While the North Bokor seismic does not confirm a closed structure, management believes the anticline structure will prove to be closed due to surrounding physical features.
