Scandium Canada Clarifies Crater Lake Project Target
MONTRÉAL, QUÉBEC — March 13, 2026 — Leads & Copy — Scandium Canada Ltée (TSX-V: SCD) has issued a clarification regarding a statement in its press release dated February 11, 2026, concerning an update on Scandium+ activities and the development of its Al-Sc alloys.
The company wishes to clarify that the previously mentioned volume of 91 tonnes for the Crater Lake project represents a target set by the company’s management as part of the pre-feasibility study currently being prepared by Norda Stelo. This target is not derived from an economic study or a technical report on the Crater Lake project, according to the company.
Scandium Canada believes that its analysis of the potential market, including powders for 3D printing and welding wires, justifies a new scandium supply source with a capacity of approximately 91 tonnes per year. The company is continuing to advance its efforts to complete a pre-feasibility analysis.
The target of 91 tonnes is considered forward-looking information and is only an estimation. There is no guarantee that it will be accurate. The target is based on current plans and assumptions that may change, including global scandium supply and demand. Investors are cautioned not to place undue reliance on this forward-looking information.
Scandium Canada (TSX-V : SCD) aims to become a market leader in scandium. The company focuses on the development and commercialization of aluminum-scandium alloys (Al-Sc). The company is working to develop its Crater Lake mining project. The company aims to meet the growing need for lighter, more environmentally friendly, durable, and high-performance materials.
