Scandium Canada Clarifies Scandium Oxide Production Target
MONTREAL, QUÉBEC — March 13, 2026 — Leads & Copy — Scandium Canada Ltd. (TSX-V: SCD) has clarified an item in its press release issued on February 11, 2026, titled “Scandium Canada provides update on Scandium+ activities and development of its Al-Sc alloys.”
The company is clarifying its statement in the second paragraph that “For reference, the Crater Lake Project is expected to produce 91 tonnes per year of scandium oxide.”
Scandium Canada clarifies that the 91 tonnes represents a target set by management as part of the pre‑feasibility study under preparation by Norda Stelo. The target isn’t derived from an economic study or a technical report on the Crater Lake project.
Management believes a new scandium supply source with a capacity of nearly 91 tonnes per year could be justified based on its analysis of the potential market, including powders for 3D printing and welding wire.
The objective of 91 tonnes per year of scandium oxide constitutes forward-looking information and remains an estimate. There is no guarantee of its accuracy. The target relies on current plans and assumptions subject to change, including global demand and supply for scandium.
While Scandium Canada believes these assumptions are reasonable, there is no assurance of their accuracy. Investors are cautioned against placing undue reliance on this forward‑looking information.
Scandium Canada (TSX-V: SCD) aims to bring the world’s leading primary source of scandium into production to enable the development and commercialization of aluminum-scandium (Al-Sc) alloys. The company intends to meet the growing need for lighter, greener, longer-lasting, high-performance materials through its Al-Sc alloy development subsidiary and the development of its Crater Lake mining project. The company strives to be a market leader in scandium while building a more responsible economy through innovation and agility.
